Overall Satisfaction with BQE Core

We utilize BQE Core on a daily basis for time card entry, project management, and invoicing. We find that utilizing these functions helps keep us on track for compliance. We also record budgets and monitor them to stay ahead of any billing issues. We have also reached out and taken advantage of the custom reports option.
  • They are very good at responding to any inquiries we may have.
  • They are good at understanding our needs and implementing any custom options.
  • The security features that are able to be implemented with each employee is impressive.
  • There is a function for everything when it comes to sorting and filtering specific reports and how to get every bit of information possible.
  • The payment and invoice screens could go hand in hand.
  • The statements option leaves a little to be desired.
  • Classes and trainings could be readily available.
  • The return on investment has allowed us to teach an employee and they can turn around and teach someone else because it is very easy to utilize.
  • The cost of implementing custom reports is a little high in my opinion , but understandable.
  • We have been able to free up time from the key employees who had learned BQE Core because they turned around and trained additional employees.

I think like anything, there is always room for improvement. The tabs and subcategories really help narrow your search down for what you are looking for. We definitely look forward to continuing our education and utilization of the program. I would like to see an improvement on the way invoices and payments are linked.
Sometimes the support desk does not quite understand what I am looking for. Even when providing a sample image of the issue, they do not seem to connect the dots. We are working on providing additional details when we run into any issues because it is possible it is a communication issue on my end. I am relatively new to the program so it may be me.
This is a great option for a small business that needs some guidance. I was not familiar with QBE Core prior to working for a civil engineer but it is very easy to learn and it can be utilized by anyone . There are a ton of training scenarios and helpful hints if you do not know the answer to something.
