Overall Satisfaction with BQE Core

Changing to BQE Core from the previous program is a major upgrade. They have so much going on in the background, providing project information that is invaluable in keeping projects within budget. I still have a lot to learn to benefit from all the features. I do not speak accounting but I appreciate those at BQE Core that do.
  • Tracks time on projects by each employee.
  • Tracks expenses.
  • Gives summaries by departments.
  • Help for planning resources.
  • On demand basic online training.
  • Improved help for learning how to clean up data transferred from ArchiOffice.
  • Training courses without cost.
  • The numbers do not lie as long as you put them in the right place.
  • It has been easier to see the bottom line.
BQE Core has done all the needed programing.

The software interface still talks too much accounting language, just recently are providing scheduled training. Needs to be more complete training and on demand without a cost. Wish that customer could do some custom reports and formatting again without having to pay the high costs for this type of BQE support.
The support is getting better but still has room for improvement in the train area without the hourly cost.
It is apparent that BQE Core was set up with design firms in mind. We do both architecture and structural design and have done for more than 30 years. Being a designer, I do not speak accounting very well. Even though I have been in business for so long. I believe that including a non-accountant in preparation of training materials would benefit many of your non-accountant customers.
