Overall Satisfaction with Branch

We use Branch on a selection of our products in order to analyse and optimise our user attribution strategies within the organisation.

We use the branded links for various channels and deep links to direct users straight to particular parts of the app and the tracking component to identify the source of installations.
  • Supports a great number of different platforms on various architectures.
  • It is very easy to integrate and get everything up and running.
  • It is free to use so represents a significant saving on other solutions.
  • Support for the product is excellent and there is a large friendly community of users.
  • They have lots of great ideas for improving acquisition and retention and regularly provide links to helpful articles and case studies to assist in improving our apps.
  • From unity the settings seem to be lost occasionally which is not always noticed until after the build has gone out.
  • No support for custom events which would be useful in helping analyse acquisition.
  • Helps to see where our [visitors are]coming from in order to install, e.g. organic through the stores and through ads
  • Keeps costs down on smaller apps with their free services
  • adjust
Branch is a much lighter solution largely targeted to attribution and deep links that can be available at no cost for the basic service. Adjust is much heaver and supports custom events but has a significant cost to consider so when optimising the costs vs income for the smaller apps, branch was the ideal solution to minimise costs and app footprint therefore maximising the revenue.
Branch is ideal as a lightweight low cost solution to help analyse and optimise user acquisition strategies where the aim is to track attributions and manage deep linking. It is not as suitable for apps with requirements for a custom event and analytics since it will need partnering with additional analytics rather than being built as with some of the other attribution providers.
