Overall Satisfaction with Brightpearl

We found that some of the training and guidance notes were not as clear as we would have liked for non accountant users
We have only used it once in the early stages. I can't remember the problem, but I do recall we were happy with the way it was dealt with.
Brightpearl is used for stock management and control, invoicing and payments.
  • Ease of setting up supplier and customer account information
  • Ease of setting up stock codes and inputting information
  • Production of order summaries prior to invoicing
  • Detailed stock reports
  • It is hard to make adjustments that are required on invoices in a closed accounting period
  • Amending invoices in a current period used to be a problem but the new features introduced last year addressed this
  • It is simple enough for junior people to use it and reduce senior management time
  • Time saved in simple account and product info set up
We did not get to use QuickBooks, because Brightpearl seemed to be a good fit for what we needed.
  • Simple to learn and to use, but performs like a bigger accounting system.
  • Has functionality and depth that a business can grow into as it expands.
