Overall Satisfaction with Brightpearl
We use Brightpearl for bookkeeping, analysis, and monthly reporting for the entire business. We use reports to assess sales and margin data by product and product category. Also we use the system to compare to budgeted and prior year financial and other metrics. We typically export reports into Microsoft Excel and then manipulate and format the data further in the MS Office suite.
- Simple sales reporting
- Simple financial and accounting reporting
- The ability to do forensic ad hoc analysis for specific business problems/questions.
- Scenario analysis would be a helpful addition
- It has been very positive with regard to giving us insights into accounting and sales reporting that we previously didn't have.
- Also, the fact that it is web-based it very helpful as some of our employees are not always on site.
We liked Brightpearl because of its retail-centric orientation and ease of use.
