Overall Satisfaction with Broadvoice
Broadvoice is primarily an office telephone solution. We use the auto attendant feature in place of a receptionist, email integration for voicemail, and cellular forwarding. Broadvoice eliminated CLEC problems and eliminates the need for on-site telephone system hardware. VOIP configuration is simple and works well. Broadvoice has proven to have good voice quality and has been very reliable.
- Clear voice communication and quick response times on telephones
- Administration interface allows for quick updates to employee information
- Cellular integration works well for forwarding (out of the office) and voicemail options
- Process for provisioning a new telephone can be time consuming
- Auto attendant text-to-voice options are limited and sound more robotic than some I've used
- Bits of information about telephone extensions/people are stored in multiple locations. Often I miss updating one piece and have to dig around for it a 2nd time. Not always found in intuitive places. (maybe provide links to related info? )
- Reliability & call quality
- Ease of use & administration
- Allowed cellular integration for employees working from home during pandemic
- Just enough control over ring/hunt groups to allow shared telephone responsibilities
Broadvoice is similar in function. The administrative console is useable (sometimes clunky), but mostly intuitive. Broadvoice uptime and call quality is excellent. Pricing is low and the Yealink phones are inexpensive yet reilable.
