Overall Satisfaction with BrowserStack

We are in a day and age where many users have different types of devices. This can cause many problems when testing app software as results may differ not just by software version but also sometimes devices. BrowserStack enables me to test across multiple devices to ensure usability for all customers. It also allows for automation testing which can run scripts across all different devices in parallel saving time and improving efficiency!
  • Device coverage
  • Automation
  • Quick Support
  • Ease of use
  • Offering replaying of sessions stored automatically to users accounts (using elements to re-create the screens) which is offered by other similiar providers
  • Loading times of devices can sometimes be slow and clicks / swipes can be delayed
  • Device coverage
  • Ease of use
  • Automation
BrowserStack has many pros and cons over Kobiton. BrowserStack seems to have better security measures on fresh booting device each time. Kobiton I had noticed that users previous app sessions were retained and I could access the apps. Another plus is you can always open a device on BrowserStack with any devices, whereas in Kobiton if it is being used you need to wait. The only thing I preferred with Kobiton is the replay session is so smooth and seamless, automatically saving sessions to the users accounts and offers quick re-play if required with elements / responses. BrowserStack is lacking this at this point in time but makes up for other areas.

BrowserStack is great for testing across multiple devices and for automation testing. Less ideal for device loading times / response times between interactions and device registering response which can sometimes cause crashing.
