Overall Satisfaction with BrowserStack

I am using BrowserStack to test my open-source software on devices I do not own. This helps me to address compatibility issues and maintain the expected level of quality over a broad range of operating systems and vendors.
  • Speedy and competent support
  • Have a broad range of devices to test on
  • Good integration of reporting tools
  • Audio is sometimes missing
  • An online non-device keyboard would be helpful to test specific key combinations
  • Testing on Apple Devices
  • Since my project is open source, there is no monetary ROI, but it makes the product more reliable overall.
There are sometimes problems with the Developer Tools, and audio is missing on some devices. Also, File Injections only work on some devices, with few file types and small sizes.
I can reliably do regression tests on the expected devices.

It's a great tool to test a website or web app in various environments you can not provide on-premises. It's quite expensive though. Note, however, that they have a free plan for open-source developers.
