Overall Satisfaction with BrowserStack

We use BrowserStack to run our automation tests using WebdriverIO, we run the tests on mobile and desktop devices.
The Live plan also allows us to test the app manually across a lot of devices without needing to have the devices physically with us

  • IP range for non-enterprise plan
  • The variety of different devices and browsers
  • Support for automation frameworks
  • Automating the tests and offering a lot of devices cuts of manual testing time so we could release to production faster
  • Catches errors that could have been missed on particular browsers
  • Allows the entire team to reproduce the issues without needing a mobile testing device
The tests rarely time out, and if they do it's usually an issue on our side. The devices load relatively fast and offer a lot of debugging tools such as running the app locally
It allows us to deploy faster to production since we could automate the tests across multiple devices and browsers
The tests on SauceLabs were less stable, the live devices took more time to load. We were unable to easily access the devtools when running on mobile devices and the support team took more time to answer us.
