Overall Satisfaction with Bullhorn Connect (Bond, eRecruit & Tempbuddy)

Bullhorn Connect is primarily used by our recruiting team to keep track of candidates and provide feedback for their pre-screen interviews. We also create job opportunities in Bullhorn in order to group possible candidates by job. There is a small degree of cross-functional collaboration, but for the most part, the recruiting team holds the keys to Bullhorn.
  • Organization
  • Visibility into past conversations
  • Collaboration
  • Interface looks a little old
  • Integration with Slack
  • In-platform messaging (It might have this functionality already. I just never used it if so.)
  • Resume database
  • Profile creation for candidates
  • Opportunity creation for jobs
  • Faster turn around time to find candidates
  • Better organization to ensure opportunities aren't falling through the cracks
  • Fast profile creation with drag and drop resume
I wasn't directly involved in the purchase of Bullhorn, but I know that when I first started on the recruiting team we were trying to run things through Asana and Copper. Asana and Copper were not exactly purpose-built for recruiting and therefore weren't the most efficient tools for us to be using. Bullhorn certainly introduced a level of efficiency that made my job a lot easier.

Bullhorn seems like a really great tool for recruiters. I like the search functionality. It made my job a thousand times easier. Of course, the search doesn't mean much if you don't record as many details as possible for each of your candidates. Seems like it could work well for a large company with lots of recruiters but probably wouldn't be great for a small operation.
