Overall Satisfaction with Callidus Commissions

I used Callidus at two different companies for over 10 years. I also helped implement Callidus as several other companies. The company I now work for uses Xactly Incent which has given me a better appreciation for the strengths and weaknesses of the Callidus product. I have seen Callidus work as a sales compensation solution for some very large companies and help manage some very complex sales compensation plans. It can handle just about any plan you throw at it (as long as your data supports it).
  • Able to handle just about and sales compensation plan you can think up if the data supports it.
  • Able to process large amounts of data.
  • Strong design allows you to manage large variations to territories and plans at the person/position level without the need for redundant plans/rules.
  • Processing commissions and updating reports takes too long.
  • Allows better visibility to sales performance.
Callidus has outstanding functionality if you need to implement very complex plans for very large organizations. Their product is not as efficient and easy to use as some competing products and does not work as well out of the box. They may be the right choice for you depending on your needs.
Callidus is well suited for complex plans or large amounts of data.
