Awesome Templates. Easy and intuitive Automation Workflows
Overall Satisfaction with Campaign Monitor
We use Campaign Monitor to reach out to dentists on the top of the funnel and nurture them with education content until they are ready to send us a case to our lab. Then we move to sending more actionable emails with CTA geared towards making a decision to send a case. Campaign Monitor has been managed mostly by marketing but it has stakeholders in the education and branding departments.
Pros
- Email templates are very easy to use and have a professional style.
- Reporting is very dynamic and easy to pull the data you need.
Cons
- The key field for matching accounts is email which is difficult for companies with multiple business units. One customer may use email across multiple business accounts. It should have a way to better match accounts for a unique record.
- The premier version at $149 is a bit expensive for what it offers. It should have some price layer between $29 and $149, perhaps with the engagement features for segments.
- Higher engagement rates when sending emails for first case.
- Ability to create a "captive audience" and market directly to them, away from social media. That has helped us to close more sales with engaged users.
Campaign Monitor is much easier to use to create marvelous emails based on their templates. Their collection of templates is impressive. It's all drag and drop. Super easy! Also it offers a much more robust platform than Mailchimp for automation features, like building segments based on triggers. I also like the fact that Campaign Monitor has their own app store. Knowing Campaign Monitor offers integration with over 200 apps is a sign that in the future if we needed to integrate with any other system, that integration process would be smooth.
