Overall Satisfaction with Canopy
It is being used across our finance and tax departments to make sure we are in compliance with state and federal laws. It also allows a streamlined and organized approach to our business and provides some checks that make our process much more efficient from a reporting and consolidation perspective.

It is a slightly smaller scale version of Avalara.
Cheaper to implement but not as good functionally. It totally depends on your company size and budget.
Avalara is well known and well studied while Canopy seems to be an up-and-comer. Avalara is much more flexible but again that comes at a higher cost
