Overall Satisfaction with Canto

Canto is our current Digital Asset Manager and houses all of our content. This is a wide variety of different assets but with a large focus on video content.
It is primarily used as a final destination for all of our marketing assets but is also utilised by our Product & Design teams.

  • Responsiveness.
  • Library & Album System.
  • Clear and clean management of assets.
  • Quick and easy ability to pull items from the library.
Great, it does exactly what we need it to do. Compared to Google Drive is it a far superior product when cataloguing images and video. It's tagging system is great, it's shame that other larger products fail to include such a basic feature. We use Canto daily.
We rarely use the support feature as our need for Canto as a basic digital asset manager does not warrant its more advance features. They're regularly sending feature update emails which are more than welcome.

Canto is a great visual tool when out laying all of your assets across one space, what it lacks in looks it makes up for in practical functionality. We do not use it for working files - only for final assets as it does not visually work well with PSD and After Effect files.
