Overall Satisfaction with Canva

Canva is a dream tool for any organization or business! It makes designing a quick social media post fast and easy - I just used it today for Instagram. I have also utilized Canva to create print flyers when I am pressed for time. Their templates are really great and easily unique with your own photos and colors. I love that I am able to customize colors, but I do find the fonts limiting. The free version is useful and if you are lacking a designer on your team, upgrading is worth it!
  • Readily designed templates - all you have to do is change the words!
  • Free!! (Or affordable).
  • The graphics included in the free version are simple and tacky that I rarely use them.
  • Limited image selection - maybe they could partner with more photo stock websites.
  • Post regularly on social media improving engagement ratings and SEO.
  • Saves money on design software.
Canva is easier to use, fast, takes up less space, and ultimately does not require a lot of thinking. While I still use the Adobe Creative Suite for impact brochures or annual reports for non-profits, I turn to Canva for social media posts. Even if I just need a square with text on top!
I have not had to reach out to support which I think tells you that it is a really intuitive software. That being said, they have a purple chat button on the button of the page that can help you when you are stuck. As a leading design software, I imagine it is fast.

Do you think Canva delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Canva's feature set?

Yes

Did Canva live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Canva go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Canva again?

Yes

Canva is perfect for social media and print flyers when you need to make them quick and easy. Especially for teams with no designer and a small budget (can't afford Adobe's outrageous prices!). I would shy away from using it for infographics or anything that is very tied to a company brand because it will quickly look generic.
