Overall Satisfaction with Canva

I use Canva for all of my graphic needs for my business as well as for clients. I love how it not only has a flexible variety of options, images, and elements, but it makes me look professional while saving tons of expense! Canva even has the capabilities to edit videos and make them stand out beautifully.
  • Professional quality
  • Beautiful graphic images
  • Brand building for my company
  • Built-in features for every graphic need
  • Sometimes the background remover doesn't remove everything I hoped for, so it would be nice to be able to select image elements
  • The image background remover
  • Text editor
  • Images and graphic elements
  • Photo frames
  • The transparency and shape tools
  • Being able to upload and utilize my personal brand fonts and colors
  • It has improved my branding and brand awareness
  • It has definitely quickened my time to value for clients
  • It has saved me expenses with graphic designers
  • Every client feels that I go above and beyond in servicing them by either recommending Canva or providing graphics built in Canva to them
Photoshop and GIMP are both excellent tools in their own right. However, what I love about Canva in comparison is it's simplicity, user-friendliness, and usability. Canva feels like the graphic tool anyone can use, even if you're a total tech or graphic amateur, while Photoshop and GIMP feel like tools for the professionals.

I truly believe Canva is the perfect graphic tool for any industry and any graphic need. I have used and recommended it to fellow business owners, marketers for restaurants, personal clients in my own business, and friends and family. It's quite literally appropriate for marketing posts, motivational graphics, advertisements, powerpoint presentations, webinar slides, testimonial graphics, and anything you could think of needing graphics. I know of authors who have even used it for book cover design (though I suppose that's the one area I still recommend hiring a professional designer).

Using Canva

2 - I use it as the business owner and my virtual assistant uses it as well.
2 - To use Canva, you just have to have the willingness to have fun, play, and learn how to use it. It's extremely user friendly and has tons of flexible capabilities for any industry, so you just need to take the time to get your hands a little dirty and explore.
  • Business graphics on my website and in my group
  • Motivational graphics for social media
  • Webinar and presentation slides
  • Testimonial graphics
  • I've been able to use Canva to make slight adjustments to cover designs and download appropriate formats needed for publishing
  • I've been able to use Canva for video edits and enhancement
  • We might begin making full covers for books in Canva
Canva has been an integral part of my business since the very beginning and I have used it for many parts of my business, so it's also something I will continue to use.

Evaluating Canva and Competitors

  • Price
  • Product Features
  • Product Usability
I loved Canva for its flexibility and capabilities for graphics without having to use Photoshop. At the time, Canva was the only available product of its nature to the best of my knowledge.
If I had to do it again, the same factors would be important to me, probably even moreso now with how the industry has changed and grown. The fact Canva continually adds amazing, usable features that are always key for development in my business is spot on.
