Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
We use Ceridian as our only HR/Payroll Software. All employees and supervisors use Dayforce for Scheduling, Time and Attendance and Recruiting and Onboarding. We are using Performance Management as well. The software has made all of the changes that had to happen in 2020 very manageable. We love the single software platform and are looking forward to expanding our features.

- We saw serious cost saving when we first converted to electronic schedules across our organization. Over/under scheduling to budget was a very big problem.
- We have no more paper forms, everything in Payroll/HR is electronic and retrievable immediately if needed.
All enrollments are electronic from Benefit to tax filings. It allows up to stay in compliance without keeping track of paper. The electronic scheduling allows for better tracking of schedules to budgets and where the Overtime is happening in live time. The auditing feature in Timesheets allows us to follow where changes are being made and managers can see payroll information in up to the minute calculations.
We have many shared employees across 33 centers. It allows us to effectively schedule, track and adjust these staff as they move from place to place all while keeping a close eye on potential overtime in our association. Reports can be run that allow a manager to see if an employee that is shared is going to end up being over in hours if they use them to fill a shift and can make better more informed decisions about who to schedule where and when.

We had been using Ultimate before we fully converted to Ceridian. The difference is amazing. We love being in a single system and Ultimate could not provide electronic scheduling and that feature was a big seller for us. With 2800 mostly part time hourly employees it is critical that we be able to track schedules across many locations and departments in real time.
Ceridian is fabulous at the Payroll/WFM and HR level. Recruiting and Onboarding being a newer feature of theirs is still working out the kinks. But their support is great and I never have issues getting any help needed. The ease of use in payroll took processing for 2800 employees from a whole week to just 2.5 days.

3000 - All employees, and management. We are a non-profit childcare and health and wellness business. We use Dayforce for all HR and payroll functions as well as recruiting and on-boarding of new hires. Since all employees use Dayforce the business functions represent hourly staff on up through the CEO and include Benefits, Payroll, Finance, Marketing, VPs and other management.
2 - Our internal support includes IT and a core power user. Everything else is supported through Ceridian directly and their support team. We do not have an HRIS manger. The IT manages that time clocks and the hardware that is in our centers for employee use. The power user manages everything else and takes care of any software changes that can be made in house.

The single most important factor in our decision to go to Dayforce several years ago was that they offered integrated electronic scheduling. We are a large organization that has over 30 locations and often share employees between those locations and needed a way for everyone to be able to schedule them efficiently.
Ceridian Dayforce HCM Implementation
I wasn't here for the final implementation but I understand that it went well. I can say that after working with other Ceridian users that used a Third Party that my organization had so much more hands on learning during implementation that we are better set up to make in-house adaptations without having to involve support and the others are still struggling after almost 18 months of being live.
Not sure - I was not involved in this process so I am not sure what lessons might have been learned.

The support team is very quick to respond and to acknowledge case submissions. for a medium level case the response time is usually under 2 days. For an urgent case it is less than 1 hour in most case. They will work with you to get any issue resolved no matter what it takes or how complicated the request is.

Quick Initial Response
I was having trouble uploading a FTP file for year end changes. My support team called me and walked me through step by step for about 30 minutes until we got the FTP file loaded and correct. They have even worked with me over holidays when I was having an issue. They are amazing.

Very easy to navigate and use. The software is user friendly and Ceridian provides all of the tools you need to learn how to use the software successfully. If you can't find the tool in their extensive Knowledge Base then support is happy to assist you.
