Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

We use Dayforce across all departments for time, benefits, personnel, and employee document management.
  • Customizable
  • Easy to correct payroll issues
  • Employee Friendly
  • Performance Reviews
  • Streamline for manager use
  • Carrier Connection problems that have arisen.
It has allowed for automated workflows and reduction of paper via form builder.
It has been very easy to see what the direct impact of any decision would be. Also, with the ability to use our Test instance to test different solutions or possibilities, it has become much easier to tinker and perfect any changes to employees or to our system before making them permanent.
Much easier to customize and test Dayforce. Certain areas of other systems may be easier for the end user - but as an admin it has been much better than the alternative.
It is easy to track down and resolve issues with Dayforce. Because clients have such open access to the system that is being used, we are able to dive into problems and not have to rely on support teams with Dayforce to fix problems for us. However, certain pages and features are unnecessarily clunky - performance reviews are particularly hard for our managers to navigate.

Evaluating Ceridian Dayforce and Competitors

Yes - We replaced ADP. First was price - but we also found that we did not receive the level of support and ability to tailor fit our system for the level of investment that we had been making.
  • Price
  • Product Features
Our finance department was happy with the ability of the system to allow them to monitor budget information based on employee assignments.

Ceridian Dayforce Implementation

Implementation team was ready to move on to other clients and was often dismissive of questions as we moved along in the process. These were very important questions for us, which is why we wanted to ask them before moving forward, but many of these questions were given a basic answer of "you will have to ask your support team that question"
Yes - We did an initial implementation of time and attendance and further implementations of other features (benefits, recruiting, performance reviews).
Change management was a minor issue with the implementation
  • Lack of understanding of required steps between implementation team at Ceridian and at our organization
  • Some items were not completely finished by the implementation team
  • Implementation team seemed eager to pass us off and move on to next client, which caused issues for us
