Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

Our Dayforce is being used across the whole organization. The business problem it addresses is it tracks time and balances especially for banked hours, vacation hours, and sick hours that each employee accrues over time. What we also enjoy about it is the requests for time off are seamless, and now we are able to go paperless, which is great.

Dayforce helps us comply with our overtime policies, vacation policies, and sick policies, and also holiday policies. It tracks these things for us so we don't have to manually do it. This enables us also to stay current and up to date with changing requirements for labor laws. Since the government always changes policies, it's important to have a system that automatically updates these changes for you.
Dayforce gives a bigger picture and ability to see scheduling and timesheets all in one place, overlooking all staff. This has impacted our ability to make decisions about scheduling because now we can see everything for all employees at the same time and make sure we have enough people both at the beginning of the day and at end of the day.
We use Ceridian Dayforce and also Ceridian Powerpay. It has been great having both payroll and HR, Time, and benefits altogether in one application. I prefer this because it saves time. If we are already with Ceridian for payroll we might as well try their products for everything instead of looking to other third-party providers.
I think Dayforce is good; it does what it needs to but there is always room for some improvement. For example, we would love it if there were more options to customize employee's information, whether its uploading PDFs with employee information or even having more custom fields, for example, if someone has allergies or not, etc.
