Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

We use Ceridian Dayforce across the organization for employee communication, human resources, benefits, and payroll. Ceridian Dayforce allows us to have a complex variable payroll with varying incentive programs.
  • Ceridian Dayforce allows for a multi-tier and complex incentive program for our complex payroll.
  • Open enrollment is done easily and efficiently.
  • It allows for me to process payroll with one staff member per 1,000 employees.
  • Prices are too high.
  • Ceridian has become too large-business focused and has forgotten the small businesses that got them to where they are today.
  • Bug fixes are slow and there are still too many of them, especially with new products.
  • The ROI has diminished over time because of increased pricing to cover Ceridian going public and being focused on earning targets rather than customers.
  • We are able to process approximately 1,000 individuals through payroll with one payroll staff member.
The tax department needs some serious work. We are constantly getting corrections and notices from federal, state, and local taxing agencies. Addressing these is time consuming and expensive.
Ceridian Dayforce has not helped or impacted the decision-making process in hiring or compensation.
Ceridian Dayforce still doesn't cover all of the bases for us and we still need to use several platforms, mostly because the cost is prohibitive if we use Ceridian Dayforce for everything.
Ceridian Dayforce is well suited for complex payrolls and large companies. For small and medium size businesses, this software is much too expensive.
