Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

Ceridian Dayforce is used in our organization for timekeeping (including overtime and sick and vacation tracking), payroll (including direct deposit and tax forms), and benefits management (including open enrollment, beneficiary delegations). The scope of our usage of Ceridian Dayforce is our operations based in the United States covering approximately 750 employees.

Ceridian Dayforce enables us to ensure proper withholding for federal payroll taxes (including Social Security and Medicare), state payroll taxes, and local payroll taxes.

Controls in place enable us to maintain Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and have allowed us to demonstrate this compliance, as necessary, in both internal and external audits.
At present, the organization has deployed the payroll and benefits modules of Ceridian Dayforce. In addition, the organization integrates Ceridian Dayforce with other internal human capital management applications (including SuccessFactors) as well as external benefits vendor applications. Ceridian Dayforce has positively impacted employee and manager self service in the organization.
Through Ceridian Dayforce, the organization has brought together payroll, time management, and benefits into a single application. Previously these were done in separate systems. Having them together has enabled better employee self service and manager self service than the organization has had in the past. It has also reduced reliance on paper forms and have streamlined approvals, which can now be done electronically.

Ceridian Dayforce is one of the large human capital management (HCM) system providers. I would expect most large organizations would have it on their shortlist if evaluating HCM providers. It has a variety of modules in the HR space. Our usage is limited to payroll and benefits for the United States. As an end user, I find it to be fairly intuitive and the integrations with other systems (SuccessFactors, third party benefits providers) in my experience has worked without issue.
