Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

We use Dayforce for Time Management, Payroll, Benefits and reporting.

  • We have saved time but automating our benefit carrier feeds to our carriers so that the information doesn't have to be added one at a time directly with the carrier.
It automates a lot of our compliance especially around payroll, tax withholding, overtime etc because we are able to configure the system to our needs. Somethings like 401k limits are automatically updated by Dayforce each year which helps us stay in compliance with state and federal laws.
It makes everything nice when its already in the same system and you don't have to set up integrations to other systems.

It does a great job allowing us to automate processes where we send our employee benefits elections automatically to the carriers. We are able to easily create ad hoc reports and even create custom fields within those reports. We are able to easily import data if needed. They need to improve the way security is managed within the application so that you can give an individual access to a specific area without the person being a direct report of another person but still limit the data that is seen.

Ceridian Dayforce Support

Currently there is a wait time for tickets that is a few days and sometimes that is to long if its an urgent matter, but for the most part once you have someone assigned to your ticket it is quickly resolved.

I don't believe we did. We just use support and open tickets as needed.
Yes - It was resolved that they acknowledged it was a known bug by the time I reported it and they were working to fix it in the next update.
With a recent ticket, we had an issue where we imported deductions and we accidentally flip flopped two of the deduction reference codes causing Medical to look like Dental and Dental to look like Medical. Support helped us identify the issue without making me feel dumb, they also helped make it easy to fix because several pays had transpired we had to also adjust year to date values and I felt they went above because we had to create new deductions and the support person offered to create a script to delete the wrong deductions which they didn't have to do.
