Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

We use Core, Pay, Ben, Time, Recruiting and Onboarding. Recently we also started using Wallet in the US. We use Ceridian for our 1095 C reporting and have several feeds with vendors
  • Wallet - we see a great adoption rate
  • Pay policies - helps us automate a lot of premiums
  • Entitlements - we are able to automate pretty much many premiums
  • Onboarding - First Time Access emails and Guided processes
  • Payroll - automatic tax authority assignments based on locations
  • Pay policies should have a "Move under" ability to avoid us clicking multiple times to move a rule
  • The ability to drag and drop form controls as opposed to having to write XML coding
  • The ability to use few more types of recurrence dates for entitlements that should be triggered on various dates that are not equally spaced
  • Dayforce should have the ability to distinctly read separate shifts on the same day.. It should not club all shifts in Timesheets.. for example, a shift that occurs in the morning , let's say employee is guaranteed their Early out.. employee leaving late in the second shift must trigger an OT outside schedule in this example.. Dayforce should not club all scheduled hours in all shifts that day to trigger this OT
  • Pay adjustments must not start at 12:00 AM, they should start at the beginning of the scheduled shift.. and if not, it should be triggered at any start time the admin chooses. Current functionality is inadequate
  • Workflow management can be much improved
  • A few hours may have been saved due to automation
It does well for most automation as mentioned before
I do not believe this impacts our decision making factors for hiring or compensation.. Scheduling works okay, although as mentioned, room for improvement is there

Do you think Dayforce delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Dayforce's feature set?

Yes

Did Dayforce live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Dayforce go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Dayforce again?

Yes

Microsoft Teams, Zoom, SterlingOne (TalentWise)
Dayforce is very good for HR record management.. It could do better in Incident tracking, attendance tracking.. I believe it has a lot of room to improve in Job step policies and base rate policies. A company should be able to use both if they want to, but right now, Dayforce does not even have a dedicated column for base rate policy id in the employee employment status table. The product is pretty amazing, but it has so much potential to be perfected
