Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce HCM

Dayforce is a very useful tool for our organization. As a retailer, we find benefits in Dayforce for our corporate work force, distribution centers, call centers, and our retail workforce, Dayforce is currently being used by about 10,000 employees throughout the US, where most of them are utilizing Time and Attendance, Scheduling, and Task Management.
Guitar Center is a unique business where employees have a unique product knowledge. One person may know all about Guitars, but not Drums. Thus, the biggest problem that Dayforce helped solve for Guitar Center was the need of better scheduling by helping determine the right headcount, at the right time, in the right department. This provides an improvement in customer service, and a cost savings in salaries.

  • Allows better management of workforce to achieve desired cost goals
  • Dayforce used to have 2 areas of improvement, reporting tools and customer support. Recently, they released a new Business Intelligence and Analytic tools, as well as significantly revamped their support portal, where they are no longer improvement opportunities, but strengths.

  • After doing a deep study on Dayforce's ROI, it was determined that Dayforce provided Guitar center with an ROI of 1000%+
  • Provides real-time visibility into workforce management at an employee, store, district and region level. This includes scheduling, Time and Attendance, Task Management, and Overtime
The ability to see payroll costs in real-time is extremely beneficial when it comes time for labor planning for the entire month.
Our managers use the automated rules for scheduling and compliance daily. When there is an automatic warning that pops up, its a nice reminder, and its one less thing to worry about.
Dayforce's user interface was what stood apart the most from the competition. During our selection process, several competitors were evaluated, but Dayforce was unanimously preferred by its future users. Another key driver behind our decision was the ease of customization of parameters, and lastly, the resemblance of how much Dayforce tools and metrics match our own.
From a user perspective, Dayforce is well suited due to its user friendly interface. From an administrative perspective, Dayforce provides the flexibility to customize the software to your needs, yet maintain the industry standards.

Anytime I submit a ticket, someone reaches out right away and informs me that they have seen the ticket and that someone will be working on it. It's nice to hear that the ticket did not go into a black hole
