Overall Satisfaction with Chorus.ai

  • Call Review
  • Coaching & Skill Development
  • Handoffs & Collaboration / Knowledge Sharing
This is mainly utilized by the sales team. However, for knowledge sharing, links are often shared outside of sales - especially when looping in different teams into an opportunity. Within the sales org, reps often use it to return to the call for notes and re-listening. I use it to assist with coaching and rep development. It's helpful to coach a specific skill and then watch recordings to see it applied and review the skill.
  • Rarely misses any calls (issue in the past of calls not getting recorded).
  • Easy to share - both internally and externally.
  • Snippets are good and nice to have for control.
  • Remove the 'Conference Room' from attendees list joining calls (90% of clients ask who it is).
  • Dark theme.
  • Better transcription searching.
  • Faster deal velocity due to finding skill gaps from watching recorded calls.
  • Faster onboarding for reps.
  • Easier onboarding for reps - provides a repository I can pull from for them.
I heavily use the transcription search feature. This is especially helpful with coaching around discovery questions. Being able to search for keywords makes the review process a lot more effective. The conversation metrics are also very helpful in quickly identifying some 'low hanging fruit' for quick improvement. These include things like conversation ratios, filler words used, key questions asked, etc. - all with the ability to drill into.
This is one of our few coaching/enablement tools. It's been a bit of a switch where our company looks at this more so as a recording tool to hold our calls - but utilizing it from a coaching perspective has been helpful - but more self-taught.
There hasn't really been anything that our organization has done or used Chorus in any unexpected or innovative way that we've been able to effectively apply to the business. Because of that, we can't positively say that there has been a positive business impact since we haven't utilized the tool in an 'unexpected or innovative way.'
It's a good tool for what our org uses it for. As mentioned, this is utilized as a repository to go back and review calls for notes more than it is for coaching. Because of the use case, actual deal intelligence (vs. visibility) isn't a major factor. Compared to other tools, Chorus doesn't dive as deep into analysis of the call, but that's not it's main use for our org.

Chorus.ai is a really helpful tool. As a rep - I've used it to go back and relisten to calls, double check notes/action items, etc. It's very helpful with so many digital calls to help coach not only on selling skills, but presentation skills as well. Video and audio are easy to work with and very clear. Tool itself is easy to navigate.
