Overall Satisfaction with Chrome Sign Builder

I have used Chrome Sign Builder on and off for the past couple of years for digital signs. I decided to try it because it can run a Google Display presentation automatically. Our organization uses the software mainly to communicate general information or to advertise upcoming events or workshops to the business community.
  • The product is free, so that's always a bonus!
  • Setup is easy and simple
  • Can schedule and display content across entire Chrome network
  • While the software is free, it is very limited in functionality.
  • In my opinion, Google hasn't done well maintaining the software, so there are a lot of bugs. Would like to see more of Google's resources dedicated to the software.
  • Would like better transitions between slides in the presentations
  • Free to use
  • Features are sufficient for simple digital signs
  • Accessibility
  • We have saved a large amount of time updating digital signs
  • We use the product for free. If you don't have a Chromebook, you will need to purchase one.
  • Features are limited and dated, so we use different software for our more "high-level" digital signs.

Do you think Chrome Sign Builder delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Chrome Sign Builder's feature set?

Yes

Did Chrome Sign Builder live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Chrome Sign Builder go as expected?

No

Would you buy Chrome Sign Builder again?

Yes

Chrome Sign Builder is free, which is great but also limited in functionality. It works well for simple digital signs, and this is what I primarily use it for at my organization. Google has not done much to maintain the software, so there are some bugs to work through. However, this seems to be the case with just about any software we use. I like that the content can be easily edited by everyone with access to the digital sign. Overall, Google could do better.
