Overall Satisfaction with Chrome Sign Builder

I have used it for clients to display their restaurant menus. The idea was to give users a quick glance at menu options including product photos, prices, and descriptions. This menu was displayed on a display inside the restaurant giving the business the ability to quickly make changes to copies and photos which were costly using other forms of media.
  • Good at scheduling
  • Runs well on all ChromeOS devices
  • Chrome Boxes are relatively inexpensive
  • It could be easier to make updates.
  • It would be nice if there were templates to use.
  • There should be some way to monitor and generate reports.
  • Cost effectiveness
  • Broad adoption of hardware
  • General ease of use
  • It has saved my client money in terms of time and materials to update signage.
  • It does take someone who is fairly tech savvy to understand how it works, there is a learning curve if not.
Adobe Advertising Cloud is far more robust than Chrome Sign Builder but it comes at a very significant cost. Yes, you can do more with some of the competitors out there, but we have found this to be the most cost-effective for companies who want to run more than one screen while on a tight budget.

Would you buy Chrome Sign Builder again?

Yes

Whether or not this is a good solution depends highly upon your use case. If you have a sign that is nearby and easily monitored visually because it's in a place where the business can see it, that's great no issues. However, if the sign is off-site, it may not be a good option because there's no way to monitor for uptime. One thing that the software does exceedingly well is scheduling various content to be displayed at different times.
