Overall Satisfaction with Cisco 1000 Series Integrated Services Routers (ISR 1000)
We have a pair of [the Cisco 1000 Series Integrated Services Routers (ISR 1000)] series in our Data Center at our main location and purchased them as a way to reduced multiple devices into one. They address the problem of having disparate devices handline multiple services and having to manage them all independently of each other. This simplifies our operation immensely.
- Seem to be well made and quality hardware and software
- Setup is simple and has a great wizard for initial config
- Well priced for a product in its category
- We did have some trouble getting the latest firmware image on the device the first time
- Support was having to hand us around alot on our problem calls
- Additional expansion slots would be useful
- Positive impact of saving our admins time configuring multiple devices
- Saved revenue not having to pay for a bunch of licenses for diff products
- Less stress when you know you can call Cisco TAC whenever you need
