Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Aironet and Catalyst Access Points
This is an organization wide deployment. It has address the issue of connecting our employees to the network and controling the access with the windows credentials. The main issues are related to the number of users in an area, the higher number of devices that are trying to join the APs and the shift from the 2.4GHz to 5GHz frequency.
- Monitor rogue SSIDs
- Manage high density areas for connectivity
- Securing traffic back to the WLC.
- Better hot spot management
- Less APs than the other brands to cover the same area
In our organization we are implementing both for different areas. Meraki is not directly connected to the organization and the Aironets are in the offices directly connected to the organization.
