Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Aironet and Catalyst 9100 Access Points

Cisco 2800 Series
We are using Cisco Aironet and Catalyst 9100 Access Points, initially within our test lab and the reception area of our office as we were trying to determine [its] viability as the replacement product for our office.

Safe to say that we are happy with the results, and we are now currently deploying this to our other sites and offices.
  • Supports IEEE 802.11ax
  • Controller-less mobility
  • Tri-radio support
  • Product size and "stealth" aspects
  • Failing hiding it, it can improve a little bit on the "cleanliness" of the design to make it seamlessly work with subtle/minimal office designs

As mentioned, we have tested this prior to full deployment and we were not disappointed. Wireless coverage is superb, and the signal strength (albeit we have configured multiple in a relatively ample space) provides easily manages our office workload, [especially] now that people are not fully into the office due to remote work for some employees.
Scalability is not a concern for this product. We can readily add or remove access points as needed, depending on the requirement or the performance recorded - but so far everything has been smooth!
Implementation was fairly quick, given that some of our teammates had [a] background in deploying Cisco Aironet and Catalyst 9100 Access Points (end to end, from design to physically installing them).
Very well performing access points! They provide good coverage and strong signals, which we have tested to be very seamless even if we are moving from and [from] the back of the office to the reception area.
