Overall Satisfaction with Cisco AnyConnect

The company decided to move to partial remote working for some staff around 2018. We were in need of a secure company VPN solution. We decided to purchase Cisco's AnyConnect. We have been using it since that time - however, pandemic increased its importance. We are grateful that we had decided to use AnyConnect before pandemics so that we have had a chance to evaluate it without any pressure.

  • Improved security and visibility of remote connected staff.
  • Multi factor authentication enabled VPN login.
  • Work very well even on mobile apple devices.
  • We have not had any problems till now.
  • Affordable solution for remote access requiring services.
Deployment was easy. On the end user side, it is also easy to use. They just install an app on their mobile device or computer, fill the VPN address and their credentials, and they can work remotely as they are located in company premises.
Our company earns from their patents and knowledge which we store on our databases. Therefore, we have a complex and well protected system. We deployed and integrated AnyConnect to our system easily.
We have not had need of an in person support. However, their guide literature is very useful as it is well documented.
Some products and services such as academic network access is entitled to our company premise and IP addresses. As our researchers require access to these products and services, VPN connection becomes essential. AnyConnect solves this problems securely. It's easy integration to current backbone makes it more appealing. As a professional who also used Palo Alto's solution before, I definitely recommend AnyConnect to my colleagues.
