Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Catalyst Switches

Cisco Catalyst 1000 Series Switches are placed at our distribution layer to fulfill my shop network requirement. I terminated my Wireless Access points on these switches.
  • PoE
  • Inter VLAN Routing
  • Provide four ports of Fiber Channel
  • They are awesome and advanced switches. Only need to improve their syntax of CLI.
  • These are much faster.
  • Better bandwidth.
Cisco is always my priority as these switches are designed as per scale and give their best for this.

These switches are heavy and designed to place at the minimum distribution layer, from where you will get gigabit connectivity at each port. It does not design for the access layer, as they are much more capable to do inter VLANs.

I have a plant where I installed these switches and their fanless design makes it easier to install hassle-free and without any doubt.
