Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Catalyst Switches
- Catalyst 3650 Series
We use the Catalyst 3650 for our access switches for end users and devices. They provide stability and flexibility to meet our business needs. We have not had a major issue due to this piece of hardware in the entire time that they have been in service. Great stable POE is also a great benefit.

- Heat
- Can be a little deep for some cabinets
- We have lowered our operational costs.
- Less truck rolls because of increased uptime
- POE devices do not need seperate injectors for stable power.
We have used automation to push updates and create different use cases. The built in packet capture has also been of great benefit to troubleshooting different issues.
We have not done much with customization
They were not as reliable, and could not move as much data as the 3650s
