The company uses Cisco Catalyst 9200 [Series] Switches to provide connectivity to the different devices and peripherals within the network. For endpoints such as phones with PoE functionality, they can power the phones, which is very practical since a power outlet and electrical wiring are eliminated. Additionally, all the power offered by the hardware of the [Cisco] Catalyst 9200 [Series] Switches is an access layer in the network.

The company has not yet experimented with the automation and analytical parts of Cisco Catalyst 9200 [Series] Switches. However, in the future, it is planned to take full advantage of the use of DNA Center to have the visibility of the LAN network equipment and thus be able to have more proactive monitoring of the network.
The Cisco Catalyst 9200 [Series] Switches are currently managed through the CLI by the console ports. There is still no centralized administration as with the DNA Center. However, it is a functionality that could provide many benefits to the company to be able to make changes automatically to several switches at the same time and with this have savings in time and resources.
