Cisco Catalyst 9300 Series Switches are used throughout our environment and relied upon to keep things running. We use these at all levels of our network. By using Cisco Catalyst 9300 Series Switches as a standard, we are able to easily manage our environments, regardless of which location around the world we are looking at. The switches themselves provide the reliability and performance that we expect from a Cisco product.

At this point in time, our organization has not had the time to move into the realm of automation. It is something that we are interested in and we know that our current infrastructure running Cisco Catalyst 9300 Series Switches can support. We hope to begin moving in this direction.
We use the Cisco Catalyst 9300 Series Switches in the same way that we used its predecessor, the Cisco Catalyst 3850 Series Switches. I know that you can do some additional manageability via Cisco DNA Center which we are currently not using.
Our environment is Cisco, so the only products I have compared the Cisco Catalyst 9300 Series Switches to would be other Cisco products. We find the same reliability and performance from the newer generation switches as we did with past generations. The Cisco Catalyst 9300 Series Switches are the next step, as our infrastructure reach EOL and needs replaced.

Cisco Catalyst 9300 Series Switches are well suited as a replacement for our aging Cisco 3850 Series Switches. In our environments, this is typically used as a core switch and handles that task very well. The only downfall of the Cisco Catalyst 9300 Series Switches is that Cisco did not release an SFP+ only model, which the 3850 Series has.
