We use the Catalyst 9500 series switch as the core of our network. We had info that connected all the places in the city. The 9500 connects with other 9200 and 9300 catalyst switches to complete the info via. As access switches, we use 2960 and now, some C1000 switches in each place.

The Catalyst 9500 Series Switch allows us to use a Python module in the automation process, that module is very useful to automate everything. We are able to automate our network stacks using the Python module. We can deploy new switches without the need for my presence in the places, 9500 can help with the deploys, and make it so easy.
The integration with DNA Center provides a lot of information about the network, and also turn it simple to troubleshoot. We upgrade to the Catalyst 9500 as we started to implement our infovia, before that we use a nexus 3k to be the core. Now with the 9k family, the network was more stable, and the new features in 9500 are well to use, which saves time to keep everything running. StackWise is also something good to implement in the network.
The Catalyst stack allows us to connect 8 switches, to be managed from one IP, it simplifies everything, before we need to connect on each switch, losing much time to know where is the problem, now, in 1 connection, we can inspect 8 devices in a single connection. We use 2960 with stack cables.
