- Catalyst 6800 Series
We use Cisco products from our edge switches (3560E/C2960XR) all the way into our data center core C6807. The Cisco line of products solves all of our connectivity issues from wired endpoint, to wireless devices, UCS for compute.
- They're solid and they run forever. You can almost adopt a set it and forget it mentality with them because they're so good at what they do.
- Configuration is easy, and remains relatively the same after all these years. I don't have to learn new syntax with every upgraded.
- Well documented and supported. You don't have to go to the ends of the internet to refresh yourself on how something works.
- Price, but you get what you pay for and Cisco is the best.
- The advanced security services are just what companies need with the ever changing security requirements.
- Performance and availability is unmatched. They support high connection rates and volumes, and adapt to changing conditions and requirements.
We have benefited, and continue to benefit from Cisco's switches. The ease of management is unparalleled. They continue to use familiar management commands which reduces management complexities and expenses. Components of management are able to be automated simplifying the process even more. They interface with standard management platforms.
