Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Jabber
Conveniently use Cisco Jabber in lieu of desk phones for both local, national, and international calls. When connected to VPN, calls can be received and placed online via laptop so employees are able to stay in constant connection. Rings leave messages, all of which are available online so no need to be tied to a desk. Hands-free access and great for multi-tasking.
- Ease of making/receiving calls via laptop.
- Managing address book and call log.
- Can remain logged in anytime you are online.
- I haven't tried video calling in Jabber, since we also use Cisco Teams for con calls but I imagine these would work just as well.
- Immediate connections to callers
- Saves desk space (no need for Cisco/desk phone)..
- Managing call logs (and recording if needed).
Our organization has used various Cisco products for over 10 years and Cisco Jabber is one more resource that helps connect employees, and partners, in maintaining great communication and collaboration. Convenient, user-friendly, worth the investment, modest learning curve, can remain online for as long as I need to be connected, and saves all my contact information easily, even with new callers. This has not always been the case with the use of Skype in which does not always offer uninterrupted connectivity or regular desk phones which even with a headset restrict users to a certain space/connection.
