Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Jabber
Jabber is being used by the entire company. In the application, we have integrated our telephone number, which we also have physically in our offices. From the application we can access our voicemail and we can also use the chat to communicate with our colleagues.
- Integration: If you have Cisco collaboration suite, like phone devices, Webex, and so on.
- Mobility: You can take your phone number to wherever it is with the application installed on your mobile device.
- Presence: You can see the status of all your colleagues, if they are in a meeting, if they are on a call, thanks to the presence of the application.
- Old fashioned: They should update the application to make it more modern, add emojis or stickers.
- Memory consumption: It can be a heavy application for mobile devices with low memory. The application is always running in the background.
- File transfer: You can't do a drag and drop of a file to a chat window.
- Savings in phone devices
- Skype for Business (formerly Lync)
As I said before, the possibility of integrating Cisco telephony with Jabber is a very useful tool compared to Skype.
