Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Jabber

We use Cisco jabber as an alternative form of communication with customers who are not active within our amazon internal comm tools. It serve as one of the go-to solution for both instance messaging and video conferencing.

  • Although some UI improvement has been rolled out, overall UX is still lacking
  • Connection sometime unstable
  • Not a lot of documentation
  • Reducing time to collaborate
  • Allow integration to phones
  • Well integrated with other software
Cisco jabber bring one of the original software in the telo space gives it’s advantage of deep market penetration, that being said it is well connected to a lot of software and platforms. It is also an affordable solution for companies to start with, i would recommend Cisco jabber for others.

If you do not have an existing tele communication solution than I think Cisco jabber is a good one to start with, it’s well established in the market and also well integrated with a lot of other third party platforms. The software have been existed for sometime so it’s UI/UX isn’t the greatest.
