There are many use cases with Meraki switches. One is how it will help us to troubleshoot if there is any issue related to cable. From a dashboard, now we can identify if there is an issue in any pair, and not only that it will also give us the length of a cable. Extremely easy to configure and manage. Give us information about users and applications running in a network.

Single dashboard from where we can configure switches, firewalls, access points, cameras, IoT devices, etc. We can configure the entire switch from GUI. We can schedule firmware to upgrade. Centralized deployment allows us to configure all devices remotely. No need to send engineers to the remote site. Cool troubleshooting tools.
It's easy to configure and manage switches and access points via centralized dashboard.
Because it's very easy to configure policy, and it's very easy to push that policy across devices.
Both have their own advantage so one needs to understand what he/she wants to achieve and based on that you can decide which product or solution is suitable.
If someone wants a centralized dashboard and ease of configuration, then definitely you should go for it. It's very easy to configure VLANs. It will give you information about users and applications running on-premises. You can schedule a firmware upgrade. You can disable ports during nonoffice hours. From a single dashboard, we can manage switches, wireless access points, firewalls, cameras, IoT sensors, etc.
