Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We're using this for our SD-WAN at our corporate headquarters as well as our remote offices. This helps us segment and granular control IP addresses and access for our various employees, contractors, building security and guests. This is very useful for us and having the cloud-based or remote management really is nice for centralized management and monitoring.

It's not a big deal, but I still have to look around the menu to find the MX dashboards.

Return on Investment

This provided a good ROI for us especially with our new building.
Various visitors and building uses and restricted access (RBAC).

Simplified Management

Cisco Meraki MX devices are easy to use, especially if you are familiar with the Meraki Web UI. I love that I can centrally manage my devices and monitor them if they get in a poor state and need me to troubleshoot.

Integrations with other Cisco products

We use this in our corporate headquarters and remote office locations to control access to specific subnets based on device type, ownership, and other factors. We like it.

Scalability

Good and it works fairly easily.

Likelihood to Recommend

Great for medium to medium-large organizations that have multiple devices in a physical location, especially when you want to control which devices connect to which subnet and control network speeds and such. I do like having the health checks and monitoring.
