Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am a Cisco partner, so my job is to implement and support Cisco Meraki products, including MX. We have several customers with whom we have implemented [Cisco] Meraki MX. So I do the implementation from scratch. These products solve many security problems in addition to that it is quite easy to configure and operate this equipment on a daily basis. The security platform used by Cisco Meraki is kept up-to-date to face the threats that arise every day. In addition, SD-WAN configuration is very simple

being a Cisco partner, the impact that the implementation of Meraki MX has left us is very good
It has also been positive for our customers since the benefits they have obtained with their MX are many compared to the solutions they had previously
Especially the support provided by Meraki that includes a lifetime hardware warranty

Simplified Management

This is the best of Meraki MX. Its settings are very simple and intuitive. The dashboard is very user-friendly, it can be managed from anywhere since it is located in the cloud. Site-to-site VPN is very easy to set up with the Meraki auto VPN feature. Licensing management is also very easy.

Integrations with other Cisco products

Cisco Meraki MR, Cisco Meraki MS, Cisco Meraki SD-WAN and Cisco Meraki SM

The benefits have been that Meraki devices are always at the forefront, they are very easy to manage, they meet the expectations of a business network. There is a wide range of functionalities that these products offer. The support offered by Meraki is excellent as well as the replacement of equipment in case of failure

Scalability

The firmware is always in a constant update to offer new features. It is very easy to integrate new devices to a Meraki network and there really are no compatibility problems since everything is integrated into the same network within the Dashboard

Alternatives Considered

SonicWall E10000 Series, pfSense and Cisco ASA 5500-X with FirePOWER Services

Meraki MX is really the easiest to configure, it is a very complete device that is at the level of a business network

Likelihood to Recommend

I recommend it because it is very easy to configure this product, you have all the network administration in a single dashboard in the cloud. The administration is completely remote from anywhere. VPN works great. For the education sector, I consider it a very good option
