Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Nexus Dashboard

We use Cisco Network Service Orchestrator (NSO) as a tool to push configuration changes to the production routers; quite a few groups facing different customers are using it. Cisco Network Service Orchestrator (NSO) is very handy and greatly reduces the workload and human errors for the technicians who used to input the configuration changes manually.

Comparing with the ONAP, Cisco Network Service Orchestrator (NSO) is easier to do the development work on and has better support for multiple vendors. Plus, the Cisco Network Service Orchestrator (NSO) system itself is more stable than ONAP.
Cisco Network Service Orchestrator (NSO) is very powerful tool which can greatly reduce the human effort to manually configure the production routers, switches, firewalls from different vendors; standardize the config; and reduce possible input errors. The technicians are no longer required to copy and paste hundreds of lines of code via CLI. It is also a useful central database to store different versions of production configurations.

Using Cisco Nexus Dashboard

For the end user, it is relatively easy to use. However, some training and practice is a must because the NSO is not as straightforward as the traditional router CLI. For the administrator, Cisco Network Service Orchestrator (NSO) is just like another program running on the Linux system--there is no big difference.
