Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Nexus

Cisco Nexus is used to process invoices and purchase orders - this includes automatic workflow trees for the appropriate approvals. These can be approved, rejected, queried from within [Cisco] Nexus. [Cisco] Nexus is also used to run reports on the data stored within, such as payment records which is helpful when a set of data needs to be isolated for investigation.
  • Ease of use processing
  • Good investigative reports
  • Strong set of useful features
  • User [inter]face could be more user friendly
  • The self scanning and uploading feature could be improved
  • More customization on templates and how to use them
  • Invoice/PO processing
  • Automatic workflow trees and approval chains
  • Running reports
  • Very useful for identifying missed payments by vendor
  • Reports great at isolating data
  • Streamlines the administrative process, saving time and money
This is the only product I believe I have used that is similar. They are linked by our two systems and work together. [Cisco] Nexus is much easier to use and user-friendly but smaller in scope [than] JD Edwards. One is used for processing and the other for data integration and reporting.

Do you think Cisco Nexus Series Switches delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Cisco Nexus Series Switches's feature set?

Yes

Did Cisco Nexus Series Switches live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Cisco Nexus Series Switches go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Cisco Nexus Series Switches again?

Yes

[Cisco] Nexus is very well suited when processing PO's or invoices received from vendors. This can take the form of uploading PDFs or having vendors send them to you directly. It does have an autoscan feature but often times in my experience, getting the documents into the correct format takes longer than the actual processing manually.
