Overall Satisfaction with Cisco NX-OS

My experience with Cisco NX-OS dates back to about five years ago, using it to prevent network outages and optimization of networks. My team uses the software to gain visibility into network data and ASIC telemetry. We have integrated Cisco NX-OS with other DevOps automation tools to simplify all NX-OS programming.
  • Configuration is easy because it uses standard APIs.
  • Cisco NX-OS has a flexible architecture for all scalable workloads.
  • Performing segment routing is quite simple.
  • Vulnarable to attacks if not used along a SOAR or SIEM software.
  • The company builds production applications and networks in a more cost-effective way.
  • Network resources usage with more efficiency.
Has provided mbetter management of the entire Cisco suite.
The performance of Cisco NX-OS with respect to low latency is quite high because you can utilize deep visibility to optimize networks. It's also able to prevent a huge chunk of network outages with the software's inbuilt model-driven telemetry.
Up to now, we haven't had a major ground-shaking attack on our networks but we take no chances by using NX-OS alongside a SIEM. All endpoints and workloads are secure so I would say we have plenty of trust in their security model.
This question is a duplicate of the previous my rating is still high at 8.

Do you think Cisco NX-OS delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Cisco NX-OS's feature set?

Yes

Did Cisco NX-OS live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Cisco NX-OS go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Cisco NX-OS again?

Yes

Cisco NX-OS is probably the best way to build a reliable data center network to prevent downtimes. While other solutions provide only the basic SRv6 architectures for networks, Cisco NX-OS goes an extra mile to help enable Data Center interconnection (DCI) with your WAN to tone down on the network complexity. NX-OS from Cisco would also bring in more flexibility on how you manage your networks and scale more easily.
