Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Secure Email (formerly Cisco Email Security)

I currently use Cisco Secure Email (formerly Cisco Email Security) to have clients send over/upload documents to me, securely and safely. It is currently being used by my branch and a few others throughout the company but not company-wide and not through our corporate office. We haven't had any issues with the program/secure email yet.
  • Securely sends emails and attachments
  • Gives peace of mind to customers who are providing personal and financial information
  • Easy to use
  • Low speed, lagging, and logging in constantly can be time consuming
  • Spam emails aren't easy to access--takes several steps
  • Puts customers more at ease when sending over secure information/attachments
  • Simplified encryption
  • Does a decent job at filtering out threatening emails/spam
I haven't had much need to use support from Cisco directly as I haven't encountered many issues that needed direct support.

Do you think Cisco Secure Email Threat Defense delivers good value for the price?

Are you happy with Cisco Secure Email Threat Defense's feature set?

Yes

Did Cisco Secure Email Threat Defense live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Cisco Secure Email Threat Defense go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Cisco Secure Email Threat Defense again?

Yes

I would overall give this product a 10 out of 10. I don't see many flaws at all and it does what it's meant to do and helps put my clients' minds at ease when sending personal information via email. This software allows you to send secure emails to those intended to receive them. This helps not only myself but also clients feel safe when emailing secure documents that contain personal and financial information.
This secure email program is very beneficial/helpful for someone working in the mortgage/financial industry. We are constantly obtaining personal and confidential information from clients and this helps put their mind at ease when sending over bank statements and documentation with their name, social security number, and other confidential information.

It would be less appropriate/not needed when sending communication without attachments as we (at my company) do not type/write anyone's confidential information in the body of any emails.
