Overall Satisfaction with Cisco UCS Series

We are using Cisco UCS Series servers in our OT. We operate four data centers and are using Cisco UCS Series servers in each of them. Some are part of our HyperFlex clusters and some are used standalone. We have an MS SQL AAG on two of the servers, others are used as Domain Controllers or backup repositories.
  • Managed via UCS manager.
  • Able to use profiles to standardize.
  • Different models available.
  • Parts availability after products eol.
  • We needed servers and we got them from Cisco and the price is best.
As we went to hyper-converged we decided to go for Cisco UCS Series and now we are only going with Cisco UCS Series to have all servers from one vendor. This way we do not have to have experience with many different techniques or partners.

I only know scenarios where they are well suited. We use them as every server by now and are very happy with the performance and the value.

Cisco UCS Series Support

RMAs are a little more complicated than we were used to by another vendor. But the Support is great and very helpful though
