Awesome Cisco UCS Series

We have deployed Cisco UCS Series servers globally and use them for our hyperconverged infastructure. These act as our edge devices in our POP locations. They are managed centrally through a 3rd party tool that coordinates virtualization software on them. We have them configured with a small boot drive and several SSDs for storage.

We often will configure many servers and use automation tools to do this. The Cisco UCS Series servers have the capability to easily handle this with our tools and provide a easy way to get them up and running without hassle. They also provide an easy way to audit the management settings so that we can ensure everything is the same.

We build these servers in different configurations for different purposes in our company. In some cases as a smaller slimmed down version for edge sites and in other cases really loaded to the max for our core sites. We have also used them in configurations to provide AI capabilities in our company. All configurations are just great.
