Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Call Manager)

BT as a partner and I as a build and design engineer suggest customers solutions for their telecommunications' needs and CUCM is getting used by all our customers and we time to time suggest them, manage and implement new versions of CUCM for them.

  • Provide VoIP based calling.
  • Provide support to Jabber using IM&P and CUCM integration.
  • Provide free IP based telephony.
  • The ungraceful shutdowns causing unrepairable issues to DB is something Cisco should work on.
  • Python should be integrated more with Cisco specific libraries.
  • Always positive ROI.
  • Cisco TAC support is the cherry on the cake and hence increase ROI.
  • Licensing is flexible and hence always helps customers select as per their needs.
All the above products are used with CUCM and CUCM is almost mandatory to use with all the above products. I also use MS Teams and both Cisco and Microsoft products have some pros and cons and Cisco having better tech support, having innovations always ongoing and better featured l always stay ahead in the race.
